A Bay Area regional commercial real estate property management company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Commercial Property Manager to manage a high-rise office building in Berkeley.
The ideal candidate should possess the following
Experience:
10 years of experience in commercial property management with a minimum of 5 years as a commercial property manager.
Experience managing high-rise office buildings a plus.
Must have Leasing, Marketing and Capital/Tenant Improvement Management experienceMust have team supervisory experienceMust have excellent verbal, written communication and strong critical thinking skillsMust have strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Yardi Voyager experience a plusMust be detail-oriented, organized, & ability to multi-taskStrong expertise in real estate finance; preparing annual budgets and preparing monthly variance reportsStrong customer service skills with excellent follow up skillsMust possess a valid California Real Estate Salesperson license or Broker's licenseExperience managing 3rd party commercial contracts a plusCollege degree, desirableReliable transportation a must
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate vendors servicing property/building.
Prepare all service contracts and purchase orders.
Conduct property/building inspections and recommend maintenance and repairs.
Work closely with building's Chief Engineer on maintenance and upgrades to the building.
Review and approve monthly reports and prepare monthly variance reports.
Create annual operating budgets and CAM reconciliationPrepare lease documentsCoordinate tenant move-outs and prepare documents for security deposit refunds.
Supervise and train property management staff regarding the day-to-day administrative duties and specific property management duties.
