This person requires deep network knowledge, be up to date of industry trends, experience of designing & implementing solutions for various cloud services. This person would be involved in architecture, design, prototype, development and test of the network services.
Qualifications and
Experience: Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Sc, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 3 years in design and implementing solutions on various cloud services.
Deep knowledge in network architectures, Software Defined Networks, routers, switches, load balancers, VPN etc
Ability to design secure network solutions for connectivity and work with security teams
Ability to standardize network deployments, investigate issues, tune for performance
Concepts of resource abstraction and virtualization
Experience in scripting using python, perl, shell etc
Responsibilities:
Provide engineered solutions to challenges faced by Oracle Managed Cloud Services business, responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
Work closely with senior executives, architects, product management, IT and Operations teams for architecting, designing and developing automation for Cloud Services
Participate in transformational projects to deliver a scalable and extensible next generation Elastic Computing platform to grow Cloud Services Business efficiently
Interact with various Oracle Product teams to understand if, when and how they can be used for the Cloud Services Platform
Provide level 3 support and root cause analysis of systems related issues on the Cloud infrastructure
Skills:
Mandatory Skills:
Successful implementation of large customer environments on various cloud services
Good understanding of latest network virtualization and cloud services like Software Defined Networks, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service).
Hands on experience
In an enterprise level environment/ISP supporting platforms like Cisco ASA & Nexus platforms, Juniper Firewalls and Routers, F5 Load Balancer/LTM/GTM
Supporting technologies like BGP, OSPF and other internal routing protocols, MPLS, Dedicated circuits, IPSeC VPNs
Hands on experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
Implementing fully redundant enterprise level LANs, WANs
Experience working with team members located across the world.
Certifications in Cisco CCNP , Juniper JNCIP/SP , CCISP , or other data comm. certifications.
TCP/IP Network architecture, analyzing, performance and solutions to improve performance
Desirable Skills:
Experience in automation using tools/languages like Python, Chef, Ansible etc
