This configurability is a significant differentiator, allowing workday customers to experience a significant reduction in total cost of ownership over our competitors. The Framework Engineering team is at the center of this configuration capability. We design and construct layered software components that are embedded within the Workday applications and extended as required. This team is responsible for the workflow engine, business process configurator, and numerous complimentary enterprise frameworks which allow Workday customers to do business in the cloud. We are actively seeking the right candidates to engineer the next generation of these frameworks into a service based model and enable the enterprise to go where its never gone before! About You : Bachelors or higher degree in a computer related field or equivalent is preferable. 3
years of OO design and development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, C#. Aptitude for coding and designing for automation, performance, scalability, availability, and security. A collaborative team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Solid grasp and fluent in common Design Patterns; UML is a plus. Ability to build complex systems using web services standards, REST, WSDL, and SOAP is a plus Disciplined, methodical, minimalist approach to design and construct layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or application Proven ability to take lead role in projects that span multiple teams is an asset.
