Primary point of contact for availability and performance issues. Drive and improve daily administration tasks. Work closely with infrastructure and customer support teams. Document processes and procedures. Take ownership of incidents and outages. Participate in a shift pattern to achieve 365 day coverage. Required Experience 1-2 years of experience with Linux administration in a production environment. Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Sensu, Truesight, Wavefront, etc.) Strong knowledge of all layers of the TCP/IP stack and common Internet services. Working Knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, awk, python, ruby, etc) Ability to own and drive customer related issues to resolution. Excellent communication and analytical skills for incident management. Work well in a distributed team environment. Flexible to shift pattern changes. Desired Qualifications A Degree in Computing/ Technology CompTIA Linux
