Job Description Workday is looking for a Manager to join the Pipeline Engineering group in Dublin, and manage the team responsible to support and improve our Cloud based services. Running on AWS, those services provide test environments to developers, testers, and well as automated test runs.The team also provides training environments for the Workday Education group. The team's life is a merry mix of fire-fighting, new services uptake, solution design, technology watch of the latest AWS services. As the manager of that team, you will be responsible: - to help the career growth of your team members, and live up the Workday culture - to define and manage the priorities of the team - to keep up to date on the latest AWS services and their potential impact for the team and our Dev customers - to communicate and represent the team with our stakeholders (Dev, QA, Training, etc) - to keep in touch with the Development org future strategy, and understand its impact on your team, and your impact on it. - plan strategically for the team's services so they keep scaling and adding value in the coming years You are the right candidate for this job if you: think as we and not as I have experience in people management with teams spread on multiple locations have experience with AWS services (ec2, ebs, VPC, EFS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation,) have experience in automating development processes (build, or test, or deployment) have a real interest in making your customers experience better (aka, help them focus on what they do best by building up automated services they can consume seamlessly) experience hiring the right candidates for the right job LI-MC1 About Workday Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources.
