Bookkeeper/Property Management Assistant

Family owned office that performs general accounting along with commercial and residential property management functions. PMA Services is currently seeking an individual with 3 years experience in the following areas: Account Receivables, Account Payables , knowledge of Property management and administrative duties Prior property management experience a plus
Job Description:
Administrative duties when/if needed: phone coverage-route calls, filing, copying, faxing, typing letters , shipping/mailing, take meeting minutes, distribute mail.
Collect record and track all rent, tenant charges and security deposits
Prepare weekly Bank deposits, banking online printouts
Compile quarterly Cam charges for billing
Annual NNN reconciliations and property budgets
Prepare bi - weekly and monthly delinquency and transaction reports using Property Management Software
Lease administration: monitor rent increases, lease expiration, extension, options, delinquent rents and insurance certificate expirations
Process maintenance service requests; interact with vendors as main contact, using a work order system and follow up.
Handle any other special assignments which may be given from time to time. This is a small office and you will need to be flexible.
Occasional onsite site visits and site inspections to properties in the greater bay area
Required Skills:
3-5 years in property management and book keeping
Knowledge of QuickBooks Tenant Pro Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe
Notary and bi lingual Spanish a plus
Please be prepared to submit to a background and credit check
Valid Driver's License and insurance a requirement. Mileage will be reimbursed for the use of your personal vehicle
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 plus a benefits package including medical.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
