Job Description:
This individual will be a key member of the Enterprise Data Management team (EDM) and on cross-functional teams with the focus to ensure governance technology is in place for master data management. The responsibilities will include support and escalation on issues around business rules, data profiling, data flows, metadata, workflow and metrics. This person will participate in gathering business requirements for functionality, help configure, test, train and document processes around the new functionality. This person will work closely with other members of the EDM team, business process owners and master data domain leaders to enhance processes in conjunction with overall objectives.
Furthermore, this person will be a key individual as we roll out master data governance to the enterprise. This person will help to ensure data integrity and provide insight/analysis into the governance process. This person will be the Super User of the systems to provide oversight and directions regarding creation, maintenance, and editing of on-going data governance components in the system and can assist other users in resolving issues. S/he will also be responsible for performing periodic audits of these components to ensure master data is regularly reviewed, and provide guidance to users on system security capabilities.
Key Job Duties:
Ongoing system enhancement and modification to meet business needs
Primary point of contact for employee and manager support, as well as maintaining EDM systems permissions/security
Partner with cross-functional teams (such as IT, Finance, PSO, Sales, R&D, Marketing) to troubleshoot and remedy issues related to the system
Primary point of contact for recurring and non-recurring data analytics, metrics, scorecard, dashboard and report requests
Evaluate and document current processes and procedures and implement improvements where feasible
Work with process and data stewards to develop business rules and assist with complex configuration in EDM systems
Qualifications:
Years and Type of
Experience:
Experience with SAP R3, PDM, APO, Siebel
Strong analytical skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience querying data, data manipulation and report generation
Experience with data quality and rules driven workflow tools a plus
Must possess 2
yrs of experience as a data/systems administrator &/or system implementation experience
SAP experience strongly preferred

Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers
Ability to work effectively in a high volume, deadline driven, fast-paced environment
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
