Job Duties: Develop software solutions for external clients based on detailed specifications from technology/systems consultants. Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products. Design and implement complex distributed systems. Provide analytics for big data applications and data mining algorithms. Develop and/or prototype enhancements to Documentum Xplore search engine, help to integrate with SaaS applications, and participate in the defining of the REST APIs for the platform. May be assigned to projects that utilize complex applications and advance search concepts like hierarchical facets, recommendation algorithms, federated search and use of thesaurus to develop innovative solutions. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field plus 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) XML, 2) XQuery, 3) Information Retrieval, 4) Lucene, 5) Collaborative Filtering algorithms, 6) Distributed systems, 7) Documentum xPlore, 8) EMC Documentum, 9) Solr, 10) FAST, 11) RDF, 12) SCRUM, 13) Documentum Foundation Classes, and 14) Documentum Query Language. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
