Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Lead Services Sales Engineer.
Candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our Pleasanton, CA location to be considered for the position.
Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside this location.
What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The primary function of the Lead Sales Engineer is to sell Eaton's electrical services offering to industrial, utility, commercial, data center and institutional customers in the targeted market areas.
In doing so, the Lead Sales Engineer will manage the customer relationship, providing sales support and technical expertise to distributors, end users, contractors and specifiers.
You will also build relationships with Eaton's internal operations and product lines to support customers and grow sales.

In this function you will:
Consult with customers in different market verticals and provide solutions to problems and pain pointsMaintain regional responsibility for all services orders activity in Eaton's market segmentsTrain and empower channel partners and manufacturing agents to sell services to end customers and contractorsBe a subject matter expert on the services offering for the rest of Eaton's electrical sales organization to support and coach the organization in your region on selling ServicesAct as the voice of the customer to Eaton's services operations and marketing teams, ensuring high customer service and satisfactionCollect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and buying habitsPrepare and present quotations to customersDevelop market-based growth strategies to ensure sustained success of Eaton's services product lines

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum five (5) years of field service or electrical industry experiencePossess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver's licenseMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futurePreferred

This position has a total compensation range of $139,500 - $204,600.
