-Answering phones in a calm, cheerful, professional manner -The ability to make each person you interact with feel special -Maintaining accurate records and note-taking -Scheduling appointments -Inter-hospital communication -Communication with clients -Ability to handle multi-tasking -Required to physically interact with both cats and dogs -Required to perform housekeeping duties including but not limited to cleaning up animal feces and urine along with other housecleaning related tasks.
The Veterinary Receptionist supports the Technicians and Veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on many aspects of pet health including wellness and pet food and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.
Requirements:
Candidate must be available to work late night, early morning or even weekends.
Candidate must have handled, owned, or cared for either a dog or cat in his/her lifetime.
We are looking for a candidate who has customer service experience in any field.
Knowledge of ImproMed software is helpful, but not required.
