is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Pleasanton, CA.
This position is responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of the Human Resources Department, including recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures, as well as a working knowledge of payroll processes.
Responsibilities Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing and screening candidates, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
Assist with the new hire orientation process.
Assist with employee benefits onboarding.
Assist with employee relations including but not limited to resolving any issues that may arise from concerns regarding employment.
Assist with all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to conducting internal investigations when necessary.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as OSHA and other local regulations.
Manage all HRIS systems in the company to ensure they are operating correctly and maintaining proper records.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or Manager of Human Resources.
Skills & Qualifications Strong verbal communication skills along with written communication skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills to assist in interactions with colleagues and customers on a daily basis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
Knowledge of HRIS systems required; preferably Kronos or another HRIS system (must be able to train).
