What you will be doing Working with engineers to choose and implement security tooling.
Designing technical security best practices and procedures and helping to implement Involved in the detection and prevention of external security threats ie DDOS, Malware, Phishing, etc.
Architecting and creating secure internal infrastructure in cloud environments.
Input into and training of physical security processes The position will be based in Chattanooga, TN, Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ).
Main responsibilities Work, side-by-side with architects and engineers, on fast-paced, complex, security architecture and engineering initiatives.
Support the security architecture and engineering team on a variety of projects and tasks including things like tool testing, configuration, scripting, tuning, documentation, and training.
Support the larger security organization by participating in design sessions, bringing new views and perspectives, and asking questions.
Be exposed to a wide variety of technical security challenges, in multiple domains (including, for example:
cloud, network, application, and operations), and be asked to quickly absorb new concepts and build on your previous work to deliver increasingly more sophisticated technical outcomes.
The salary range is $ 99,000 to $ 128,520 annually.
Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.
There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and
Experience:
Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work experience 5
Years of professional Information Security experience.
Expert understanding of networking and server concepts.
Develop, implement, and enforce information systems security policies ensuring system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the acquisition and Information System (IS) lifecycle Knowledge of secure design, various compliance (HIPAA, SOX, PCI, etc), procedures, and guidelines for designing secure architectures.
Interface with company and customer staff at all levels You are responsible for maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for the information systems.
Familiar with modern Endpoint Defense software and Web Content filtering systems.
Hands on troubleshooting experience in Windows/Linux/MacOS operating systems.
A strong desire to learn, try new things, take chances, and push yourself outside your comfort zone.
