com/ Job Summary theCoderSchool is looking for a passionate Receptionist/Code Coordinator to help us build a community and bring coding to kids! You will meet incredible kids, work with a stellar team of Code Coaches and be rewarded with an amazing experience.
This is a part-time position for approximately 30 hours/week (same days and times every week).
Our normal operating hours are 3:
30-7:
30pm on weekdays and Saturdays from 9am-4pm.
If you have availability in other hours, please let us know.
We are hiring immediately for an In-Person Coordinator at our school facility in Pleasanton.
Job Summary / Responsibilities Assist the General Manager with opening/closing duties.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide information about our programs and services Light cleaning as needed of school space and bathroom upkeep.
Direct students to their coaches when they come in for their weekly lessons Enter and update customer data and perform various administrative tasks as trained by the General Manager Learn and understand theCoderSchool's backend software, including billing and customer management systems Manage the school's calendar, contact parents over the phone for missed lessons, rescheduling, and other operational tasks Contact prospective customers and encourage them to register for a FREE Sample Lesson, or follow-up on previous sample lessons Be open and willing to learn about the wide world of technology, and gain a basic understanding to have educated conversations (with parents and kids!).
Requirements Good Communicator.
There will be plenty of chatting with parents, and of course patience is a virtue when it comes to kids! Genuine.
Showing genuine interest in students and their growth means a lot.
The best coordinators always know which students in our coder community are having a great experience and which may need to switch coaches; this is a key function for the role.
Desire and Ability to Learn Quickly.
You don't need to be a tech wiz for this position, but we want you to learn high level technical concepts so you can speak intelligently to parents (and students!) U.
