State Fund is actively seeking passionate individuals in multiple locations to join our team and take on the important role of underwriting and servicing Small Commercial accounts.
As a provider of workers' compensation insurance across California, State Fund currently has openings for Underwriters in the Small Commercial business segment.
Under the supervision of an Assistant Underwriting Manager, you will:
Perform a wide range of duties to fulfill workers' compensation insurance needs.
Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a high volume of work.
Apply your technical expertise, utilize multiple sources of information, and exercise sound judgment to make informed decisions.
Carefully review both new and renewing accounts, ensuring accurate pricing of policies to provide optimal coverage for our clients.
Coordinate policyholder servicing and maintenance Participate in special projects as assigned.
New underwriters will attend a multi-week training program through a virtual platform.
Some travel may be required for training, and performing the job requirements.
Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs.
