$20 - $25 per hour based on experience For over 100 years the Alameda County Fairgrounds has been a part of the community hosting over 250 events a year and an annual Fair with live concerts, live horse racing, tasting fests and cultural festivals that bring in nearly a half-million guests every summer.

The Administrative Assistant for the Facilities team provides administrative and office support to our Facilities Office in the day-to-day operations of maintaining our facility and ongoing projects.
This is a regular, full time position with excellent benefits.
We are looking for an organized, detail oriented and deadline conscious individual.
Good computer and customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple projects effectively is expected.
YOU WILL:
Administratively support multiple departments and staff members Coordinate and schedule vendors for projects, bids and job walks Monitor and assist with projects from conception to completion Sort, copy and file Update and compile information in various databases and spreadsheets Create, analyze and maintain information using Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Monitor, order and track parts and equipment for campus facility projects Maintain well-organized records on orders including status updates Field phones calls and handle inquiries Greet and assist guests and vendors Maintain departmental and project files Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU WILL BRING:
Good computer skills including proficient in the Microsoft 360--Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint Proven ability to learn new software programs Familiarity with third party AP and Purchase Order platforms a plus Experience handling multiple projects with varying deadlines Effective communication skills, both verbal and written High customer service standards Excellent organizational skills Team player Detail oriented Proven ability to work well in a fast paced environment Current valid driver's license and ability to be on company insurance policy Alameda County Fair Association is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages all qualified persons to apply.
